That's really nice! :D About how much can it lift?

@ SprinkleOtter Thanks! Good question, I only tested it with two of my Lego boats. The boat in the video, which weighs about 1/2 lb, and an old police boat that weighs 1 lb. It lifted the 1/2 lb ship no problem. But it just barely got the 1 lb boat off the ground and really stressed the technic beams and worm gear. I didn't try anything heavier. So I would say it can lift up to 1 lb approximately.

very cool

Very good dessing.

@ jedicaleb7 Thanks!

Always Awesome Job AREM. Very beautiful Design :)

@ ecarvajal Thanks! I am assuming you meant 'design'? @ Kwon8429 Thanks!

I like the concept and design! I would suggest though, hiding the ultrasonic sensor in the cockpit, or even substituting it for headlights.

@ streamliners Thanks! I was originally going to do that but I decided to change it so the U.S. sensor could turn side to side. It was one of those functionality vs. appearance choices and I decided in favor of functionality. Thanks for the suggestion though!

cool!

Sorry you got a 3* on this project. I can tell you put a lot of effort into it :( I kinda know what it is like to get a project rated like this. I worked on my UB biped for over 2 months but it still got only a 4 star rating (NXTLog 4* not the new rating system). Some people do not know how to rate projects.

@ barriebently Thanks! @ DaveAndJoe I noticed the three star rating and thought it was a little low. (Its up to a four now, thanks!) I though your UB biped was awesome but I don't remember if I rated it. I will go and rate it now!

Awesome! I wonder how to design a great robot like this. Neat and tidy!

What actual pieces did you for the hook? I'm doing a similar model but having trouble with the hook. Sorry, it's a little hard to tell by just the picture.

Never mind. I figured it out close enough. I really liked your design. I will probably upload my forklift/crane in a few days.

BEAUTIFUL

You should make an Ev3 version!

@ juandaeli01 Thanks! Just keep working at it and you will eventually be able to make great robots! @ douglasjaymiller Sorry I didn't respond sooner but I am glad you figured it out! I can't wait to see your forklift/crane! @belac853 Thanks!

@ BrennanRocksBB I am sorry but I am not building a tank right now, so probably not. It sounds like a fun contest but my current project would not really qualify.
