Hello everyone! By the way... ...THIS IS MY 70th POST! (My "Air Plan3" got unpublished and it always just says "In Moderation") Any way... I'm back with my second the game bot challenge entry, The Race Against Time! The high speed action packed driving game. The goal of the game is to try and avoid objects on the paper track and collect the gas can. You can drive the car with the steering wheel on the right of it. When you tilt the wheel to the left the car will move to the left. To play you have to insert one dime above the beige bar then push under the beige bar with the key to play. The reason for the key is to make it more realistic and more fun. After you do that you pick what game mode you want, easy, medium, hard, or time with the brick buttons. The goal of easy, medium, and hard is to get one hundred health. You start with fifty health. The color sensor is hidden under the LEGO car that I made. When the different colors are sensed your health will go down. For instance, red is an other car which decreases fifteen health, and brown is a pothole which subtracts two from your health. When your health runs out the screen will and the brick will say "game over," and everything will stop. After about seven second the program will automatically restart and you can do the whole process over again. The differences between easy, medium, and hard are the speeds that the track spins at. Time mode is a little bit different, the track will spin at medium speed, but this time you have sixty seconds to see how far you can get. Also, I figured out a formula to convert the rotations in to life size feet. When a color is sensed your speed will decrees like your health but then go back up after a few seconds. The goal in time mode is to set a new high score. When you set a new high score it will be saved and you can try to beat it. But if you exit the program it will be reset to zero. The program is full of stuff like custom sounds I added, tons of cool images, and fun thing that it does when you set a high score or not. But I'm not going to go over those and the program because it would take to long and be boring. If you, want I can upload the program. You could also make different tracks if it becomes to easy. I wanted to make a coin dispenser so that when you set a new high you can win some money back, but, I only have three motor. Thanks for viewing my 70th post. Please feel free to check out my other robots! Good bye until NeXT time!
