The Ev3 Biped Prototype (EBP) is a more unique robots on the Mindstorms log, in that it can walk (not shuffle), and turn. It does this by drastically shifting its weight, and balancing on one leg while the other takes a step. Each leg is moved by a single large motor, and the EV3 Intelligence Brick is moved from side to side by the Medium motor. The EBP can detect objects with the Infrared sensor (not hooked up in the pictures). I hope to build upon this concept in the future, as this is just a prototype to prove the idea. Unfortunately, the program will not upload. It is a simple one, where one Large motor makes one rotation, the Medium motor makes 2.5, and repeat. Though short, I hope you enjoyed this project.
